This prices a pressure washing job the way a crew actually quotes it. Walls and siding are taken off by the square foot at your wall rate, driveways, patios and decks at your flatwork rate, and a trip and setup charge covers the drive and the rig. It shows your chemicals and fuel as the cost they are, and works out what the crew earns per hour on site after them, which is the number that tells you whether the price is right before the customer does. Free, on the page, no account; the paid plan saves it against the customer and sends it under your own name.
Walls and flatwork are different rates because they are different work
Siding is washed at height with a low-pressure soft wash and the right chemical; a driveway is surface cleaned with a flat nozzle at pressure. They take different time per square foot and carry different risk, so they carry different rates. The tool asks for both areas and both rates, because a single per-foot price either gives away the wall work or over-prices the driveway.
The setup charge is the drive, and it belongs on the estimate
Every job costs the drive, the hose-out, the hose-in and the rig check whether it is a 400 square foot patio or a 4,000 square foot house. A trip and setup charge on its own line pays for that and stops the small job losing money; folding it into the per-foot rate makes the big job look expensive for no reason.
Earned per crew hour is the check on the price
Chemicals and fuel are your cost, not the customer's line, and the tool takes them off the price and divides by the crew hours on site. That figure is what the job pays you per hour of a crew's day, and it is the honest test of a rate: if it comes out below what the crew costs you, the rate is wrong however it compares to the competitor down the road.
Pressure washing estimate calculator: common questions
Is this a free pressure washing estimate calculator?
Yes. It prices the job on the page with no account and no card: siding and flatwork areas at your rates, the setup charge, your chemicals and the earnings per crew hour. Print it as it stands. TakeoffDeck Pro adds your company name and logo, a PDF without our line, and saving it against the customer so the annual wash starts from last year's estimate.
How do I price pressure washing per square foot?
Take the areas off the elevations and the plan, set a rate for walls and a rate for flatwork, add a setup charge, and check the result against what the crew earns per hour after chemicals. The tool does that arithmetic; the rates are yours, and the earnings-per-hour figure tells you whether they are high enough.
Should I charge a minimum job price?
Most crews do, because the drive and the setup cost the same on a tiny job. The tool's setup charge is the honest version of a minimum: it is the fixed part of every job shown as a line, so a small patio still covers the trip and the customer sees why.
