Fence estimating software earns its keep on the count, not the price. A fence run is measured in linear feet, but it is built from posts at a spacing, panels or pickets between them, gates counted each, and labor by the foot; the old fence comes out at its own price. Count the posts from the spacing, and let the count drive the materials
Posts are the run divided by the spacing plus one, and everything between them scales with the run: rails, pickets or panels, fixings, concrete. The tool derives the post count so the materials line is built from a number the crew will recognise on site, rather than from a per-foot allowance that is wrong on every short run and every corner.
Price gates each, never by the foot
A gate is hardware, a frame and an hour of hanging it straight, and none of that scales with the fence length. Estimating software that folds gates into the per-foot rate under-prices the two-gate job and over-prices the long run with none. The tool counts them and prices them at your installed price per gate.
Mark up the materials, price labor per foot, and put removal on its own line
The materials markup covers the supplier trip and the split post you replace; it belongs on materials rather than in the labor rate. Labor is priced per linear foot at your rate, and taking out the old fence and hauling it off is a separate figure, because the customer who keeps the old fence should see the price drop by exactly that.

How do I price a fence per linear foot?
Build the estimate from the count first (posts, feet of panel, gates, labor per foot, removal) and let the tool divide the total by the run. A per-foot price that comes out of the count is defensible line by line; a per-foot price you chose first and backed into is the one the customer beats you down on.
